There's a new insanely popular food on the internet, and
it's something everyone can afford.
The maker is a pizza company that is famous for its cheap
but attractive offers.
It’s Little Caesars, which released its new Crazy Puffs on
March 11, promising fast food consumers a satisfying handheld option.
The company describes the puffs as "bite-sized pockets
of pizza perfection".
They come in the forms of mini pizzas wrapped in a crust cup
with red sauce, cheese, optional pepperoni, and a little garlic butter topping.
The price is only $3.99 for a pack of four puffs.
At first glance, we don't see any innovation in this food
product, because it just reuses the classic pizza to be more portable.
But it seems the internet says otherwise. Putting aside the
innovation factor, many social media users call Crazy Puffs one of the best
fast foods that money can buy.
The puffs suddenly went viral on social media, with
influencers and regular people posting their taste tests and reviews.
If the number of posts flooding Facebook, TikTok, Instagram
and X is a benchmark, then it’s safe to say that people really like this food.
Some even call it their most favorite food ever on the
Little Caesars menu.
The product received sky-high praise and overwhelmingly
positive reviews.
Many fans say that the puffs have the right price, size,
texture, and taste, which makes them worthy of a 10 out of 10 rating.
Some suggest adding marinara for added deliciousness.
Like any new food product, though, some people on the
internet are not fans.
Those who were critical pointed out the shortcomings of the
food which they judged to be less tasty.
Other criticisms include the price compared to a full pizza
at $5, and the lack of sauce or dipping sauce.
Additionally, the quality of the puffs decreases as soon as
they cool down, the quality is inconsistent, and they use the same ingredients
with only minor changes.
But the number of positive comments is much greater, making
the small amount of criticism sound irrelevant.
Those who commented positively were unanimous in their
praise for the puffs. They have been persuaded to try them by the favorable
assessments from reviewers.
Some other people are not so interested in the product. Some
Little Caesars workers themselves say that the puffs are difficult to make and
have led to very long wait times.
Some customers also noted longer wait times, up to 30
minutes in some cases, as well as locations that were sold out or not selling
them at all.
A commenter on the official Little Caesars post who can't
stand the puffs anymore hopes it will be removed as soon as possible.
Other workers complained that poor execution of the idea
made the puffs too time-consuming to make and land.
Given the number of positive posts, however, it seems highly
unlikely that Little Caesars will discontinue Crazy Puffs in the near future.
